29 - 31 octobre 2018

French: This week, we will complete our writing project and look in the dictionary for proper spelling and grammar.

Programme de lecture à la maison: We are continuing the French reading at home program. Students are to read out loud to practice pronunciation. Reading log is due every Monday.

Math: We are continuing comparing, ordering and classifying number up to 9 999. Evaluation this week or next week.

English/Religion: We will talk about Halloween, All Souls Day and All Saints Day. Students are asked to start thinking about a saint they would like to research on.

Science: We are continuing the second part of our unit on Waste and our environment. We will continue our MSD (Mercredi sans déchets) Wasteless Wednesdays.

Agendas: Students should put a checkmark when something is done. Parents are asked to supervise homework and to put their initials when homework is completed. If your child does not have time to complete his/her homework, please write a little note in the agenda.

Math: We are continuing numeration up to 9 999 in French.

English/Religion: We will continue to learn more about our Patron Saint St.Luke.

Math: We are now starting numeration up to 9 999 in French.

English/Religion: We will learn more about our Patron Saint St.Luke.

Science: We are continuing our unit on Waste and our environment.
I am also asking students to collect a few items from home for some art projects.  Some items you could send in include...
  • -Magazines
  • -Cardboard egg cartons
  • -Plastic bottles
  • -Bottle caps (metal or plastic)
  • -Soup cans (cleaned)
  • -Cereal boxes
  • -Pringles cans with lids
  • -Cracker boxes

Physical Education: On days 1, 4 and 5 from 12:30 to 1:00. Students are asked to change into their gym clothes for Physical Education.
