French: This week, hopefully we will complete our writing project and look in
the dictionary for proper spelling and grammar. Students will also learn how to
auto-evaluate their own writing.
Programme de lecture à la maison: We are continuing the French reading at home program. Students are to
read out loud to practice pronunciation. Reading log is due every Monday.
Math: We are starting the unit on additions and subtractions. Please practice basic facts up to 9

English: When completing book
reports, students are asked to summarize the story in their own words/sentences
not to copy sentences from the book. They should also pay attention how to
spell common words properly. I will soon provide a list of words they should
how to spell by grade 4.
Health: Students are reminded to have enough hours of sleep, so they are rested
when coming to school and ready to work and learn!
Religion: We will talk about All Souls Day and All Saints Day. Students are asked to start thinking about a saint they would like to research on.
Science: We will complete the second part of our unit on Waste and our
environment. Evaluation on Friday. We will continue our MSD (Mercredi sans
déchets) Wasteless Wednesdays.
