Thank you for all the Christmas gifts!

The best gift of all is that students remember the work habits they've learned in Grade 4.

Happy New Year to all Grade 4 families and stay healthy!


Here is what we will be covering in class this week:

French: Students will learn verbs in ER at the "Passé Composé" tense. There will be an evaluation on Friday.  Students are also asked to go on Razkids  3 times this week.

Math: We are starting our subtraction unit. Students are asked to practice addition and subtraction basic facts by going on Xtramath 3 times this week.

Science: We are starting our Light and Shadow unit.

Social Studies: Students are starting a project on wild animals from Alberta.

English:  This week, we will read the introduction to the book: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis. We will also review grammar concepts covered to date and we will continue to write book reports. 

the stable where Jesus was born. We will learn the song "We Three Kings". In addition, we will talk about the presentation of Jesus in the Temple.


PROGRESS REPORTS: They will be sent home electronically on Thursday January 19th. Parent Teacher Conferences will be on Thursday, January 26th from 4:00 to 7:00 in person only and on Friday, January 27th from 9:00 to 12:00 and from 1:00 to 3:00 virtually only (am and pm).
