Here is what we will be covering in class this week:

French: We will learned about verbs Avoir and Etre at the "Imparfait" tense.  We did a pre-test on Monday and there will an evaluation on Friday. Students also need to practice reading their spring story out loud and record their reading on Flipgrip on Thursday.

Math: We are starting our unit on mesuring time.

English:   

Science: We will continue our unit on Simple Machines.

Social Studies: We will start exploring different regions of Alberta. There will be a short quiz on Thursday.

Religion:  

Swimming: Students will be bringing forms home on Tuesday. We need to know the last swimming level completed

Here is what we will be covering in class this week:

French: There is no evaluation this week. Students will continue their Spring story and try to use concepts they've learned so far in Grade 4. Students should continue to go on Razkids 4 times this week and record their voice please.

Math:  We will continue our unit on division. Every student should be at the multiplication/division level on Xtramath. Continue practicing basic multiplication and division facts. They will have an evaluation on multiplication and division on Friday. 

English:  Students will continue to follow the  steps to answer Reading Comprehension questions:

1. Read the story slowly and carefully.

2. Read the question slowly and carefully.

3. Find the answer in the story.

4. Write the answer in a complete sentence with:

         - capitals 

         - proper punctuation

1. - and with correct spelling 
2. 
   

  5. Read your answer slowly and carefully to find mistakes and missing words. 

Science: We will continue our unit on Simple Machines.

Social Studies: Evaluation on Rocky mountains on Wednesday.

Religion:  We are continuing to talk about Lent  and reflecting about our Lenten promises.

Fieldtrip to Heritage Park on Thursday. Students should bring a lunch and dress accordingly.

Math:  We will start our unit on division. Every student should be at the multiplication/division level on Xtramath. Continue practicing basic multiplication facts. They will have quizzes regularly.

English:  Students will continue presenting their Black History Month projects.

Science: We will start presentations of the project on Monday. Then we will start a new unit: Simple Machines.

Math:  We will continue our new unit on multiplication. Students will have regular quizzes on basic multiplication facts up to 9 X 9. There will be a problem solving evaluation with multiplication next week. Every student should be at the multiplication level on Xtramath.

English:  Students will also be presenting their Black History Month projects.
