Here is what we will be covering in class this week:
French: Students will complete the writing assignment where they describe what a school is. In addition, we will be learning about adjectives. A reminder that students’ reading programs are due on Monday. If they forgot their yellow tracking sheet at school, students can always use a lined piece of paper and have a parent sign off on their reading minutes.
Math: Students have a good understanding of the various ways of
representing whole numbers. We will now work on comparing numbers up to
10,000.
English: We will continue working on
how apostrophes are used through Halloween activities.
Science: We have almost completed the second unit on Waste in our World. Students should be reviewing their notes as there will be a unit test in a couple of weeks.
